Heyo~ If you guys were waiting for this I've finally started the plans. "This" being the Crescent Rose Scythe Folding Version. So, during my long stretch of not doing much, I finally received my material shipment. Will hopefully have an update video to show what came in. Currently working full-time in retail so I don't get much time to work when I get home. Here's hoping to find a pocket of time to work on stuff~ But now I have a facebook page (Still tweaking)! Your crescent rose is so awesome! I really like how clean it looks after the paint job cause of the glossy paper. I was wondering if it would be impractical to paint that by hand? Like would it ever dry? I'm trying to make it with what I have at home.
Oh gosh, I am so sorry that I missed this message! I've been on this crazy stretch of having to build things for a con.
Now to answer your questions. I believe it is possible. Maybe try some with finer brushes so there is less sign of brush strokes. I don't know how well it will adhere but it should be fine. What sort of paint do you have?

I saw your crescent rose build on youtube! It helps a lot for when I prepare to build mine!
